Overview
Explored future kitchen appliances for sustainable cooking (brief by Braun during exchange at TU Delft).
Combined fermentation + mushroom cultivation into a modular system with sensor-enabled vessels.
Added a companion app concept for remote monitoring and alerts.
Highlights
- Modular system with a baseplate and swappable vessels; sensors activate when placed on the base.
- Fermentation vessel concept includes temperature + pH monitoring and readiness notifications.
- Design language inspired by ancient fermentation amphoras; intended as a display-worthy kitchen object.
